Here is a user case that has a lot to say about ten years of technical and commercial development by SUNNA Design : our solar lamp posts were selected as the adequate solution to light up one of Honolulu’s largest shopping center parking lot
Honolulu, HAWAI
Even with no emergency situation or lack of infrastructure in sight, Sunna Design’s lighting solution (here the iSSL Maxi Road & iSSL Maxi 4) delivers enough to win markets such as Honolulu’s shopping center’s parking lot.
Why? First, our high-performance solar street lights are powered with a unique Energy Management algorithm that delivers the right amount of lighting in changing and demanding environments such as tropical islands where dawns and sunsets are dramaticized by clouds.
Our lamp posts are designed to withstand the harshest winds and work even during flash floods as their ambient light sensors can’t be fooled by unwanted reflection. Then, there is their total cost: non-destructive implantation, limited maintenance, financing through Solar Lighting as a Service (SlaaS).
Last, they last longer than any competitors, worldwide, as our design, batteries and other components are the same we use for our MENA implantation with temperatures reaching 60°C / 140°F below the solar panel. We are proud to add such a paradise destination to the long list of places where we’ve deployed our innovative solutions.
