Sunna Design’s Role at the 2023 Simposium Urban Solutions

Sunna Design proudly participated in the second Simposium Urban Solutions, a pivotal event that congregated key figures from energy, sustainability, lighting, mobility, parks, and infrastructure sectors, all within an urban focus. This symposium took place at the renowned City of Culture in Santiago de Compostela from the 4th to the 6th of October 2023, building on the success of its inaugural event in Vigo and reinforcing its status as a cornerstone in these essential industries.

The Simposium Urban Solutions stood out for its unique platform facilitating interaction and networking among key players in these crucial sectors. Promoting the exchange of ideas and highlighting innovations that redefine our current and future cities, this year’s edition focused on the importance of urban rehabilitation and sustainable infrastructure, as evidenced by the achievements of the city of Santiago.

Sunna Design, represented by Alan Marolleau, our Regional Sales Manager for Southern Europe, had a notable participation in the event. Speaking during the “Lighting: Sustainability and Efficiency” session, Alan Marolleau presented “Market Overview, Potential Applications, and Technological Limitations” – a conference offering a comprehensive view of the challenges and opportunities of the public lighting market, particularly emphasizing the potential of solar lighting solutions.

Ingeniería Urbana’s invitation for Sunna Design to join the symposium is a testament to the company’s standing in the sustainable urban lighting arena. The experience at the Simposium Urban Solutions was more than just a chance to exchange ideas and seek partnerships; it reinforced Sunna Design’s dedication to spearheading the development of cities that are both more sustainable and energy-efficient.
