In the town of Langon, south of Bordeaux, a new commercial area of 10.000m2 has opened as an extension of the E.Leclerc superstore. Sunna Design’s solar streetlights were chosen for its 350-space parking lot, an efficient and sustainable public lighting system in perfect harmony with the quality and environmental standards of the project leaders.

Langon’s largest shopping center is continuing its development by opening an extension that includes 15 shops, including cultural spaces, textile stores, home furnishings, and restaurants.
Nicknamed the “Promenade de Moléon,” this commercial area has been designed for the comfort and well-being of customers in compliance with the rules of sustainable development. Green spaces, use of natural materials, reuse of rainwater, and installation of 2400m of photovoltaic panels are all commitments of the project managers in favor of the environment.
A solar parking lot with permeable ground is also part of the extension, for which Sunna Design was entrusted with the supply of intelligent autonomous street lamps for the ecological lighting of the place.
The people in charge of the extension of the E.Leclerc shopping center have favored collaborations with local companies for a coherent construction project from beginning to end. Sunna Design and its premises located in Blanquefort were selected for the solar lighting of the parking lot. Above all, this French company has the widest and most reliable range of solar streetlights on the market, products that have already proven themselves on the Brico E.Leclerc parking lot of Mazères (Bordeaux region).
The pre-project study carried out by Sunna Design’s technical experts led to the selection of the EverGen range for its high-power lighting capacities. Sold as a kit to be assembled on-site, this ultra-efficient intelligent street lamp also has the advantage of being installed in less than 30 minutes and, therefore, being very quickly operational. Thanks to its timestamp function providing for the extinction of the street lamp one hour after the end of commercial activity, the E.Leclerc Center of Langon is in compliance with the decree of December 27, 2018, on the prevention, reduction, and limitation of light pollution.
Choosing Sunna Design’s photovoltaic street lamp for the parking lot of a commercial area means contributing to the protection of the planet without compromising the quality of lighting or the safety of your customers.
