After a phase of R&D and industrialization of its offer, then a fund raising at the end of 2017 to accelerate its growth, Sunna Design announces the arrival of Ignace de Prest as Chief Executive Officer.
After successful marketing and deployment on all continents, Ignace de Prest’s mission will be to manage and structure a new phase in the company’s development. Thomas Samuel, Founder of Sunna Design, remains Chairman of the Board, becomes Chief Evangelist Officer and will be in charge of the company’s energy access activities.
Ignace de Prest previously managed the solar and energy storage business of Schneider Electric for Europe and North and West Africa. In recent years, he structured Schneider Electric’s growth in renewable and solar energy in management positions, successfully deploying distribution networks, large project teams, and service activities. Ignace had previously started Schneider Electric’s financing solutions business, and he had also spent 10 years in venture capital at Techfund, then at Aster Capital where he was Managing Partner.
