The Impact Summit is an event focused on sustainable development, innovation, and social enterprise. Every year, it brings entrepreneurs, investors, activists, business managers and thinkers together to discuss and share ideas about the way to solve the more pressing global problems. The event aims to create an area for the discussions, the collaborations, and the partnerships between the participants in order to develop concrete solutions to environmental and social challenges.
Sunna Design was a partner of the Impact Summit 2018, with Solylend, which took place in Bordeaux on Thursday, May 31, 2018. An exceptional program was set up, including round tables with actors of the positive economy.
On this day, Sunna Design’s founder Thomas Samuel spoke about the critical issue of energy access in emerging countries. Many people in these countries do not have access to electricity, which limits their access to education, healthcare, and many other opportunities. To meet this challenge, Sunna Design developed a range of innovative solar streetlights, that can be easily installed in remote areas or without access to electricity.
