Sunna Design, a leading player in autonomous solar public lighting, announces the appointment of David Dassié as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026.

Having joined Sunna Design in 2020 as Sales Director, David Dassié has played a key role in structuring and accelerating the company’s commercial development, both in France and internationally. This appointment reflects the company’s commitment to long-term sustainable growth.
David Dassié led the company’s commercial deployment across its key markets for more than five years, supporting public authorities, local governments, land developers and private partners in their transition toward more sustainable, autonomous and resilient public lighting solutions.
His expertise in international markets, in-depth understanding of public and private customer challenges, and ability to build high-performing commercial organizations have contributed to strengthening Sunna Design’s position as a leading innovative player in autonomous solar lighting.
A trained engineer, graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Strasbourg, holder of a B2B marketing and sales specialization from HEC Paris, and Foreign Trade Advisor of France for six years, David Dassié brings more than twenty years of experience in the commercial development of high value-added technological solutions in France and internationally.
His appointment as Chairman of the Management Board recognizes a strong internal career path and well-established legitimacy, based on a strategic vision focused on innovation, operational excellence and positive environmental impact.
As part of this governance evolution, Sunna Design relies on a Management Board responsible for the company’s strategic direction and for supporting its growth ambitions, in line with the values of innovation, reliability and sustainable commitment that define the company’s DNA.
